  • What are the signs my HVAC system needs repair? Common indicators include unusual noises (like banging or buzzing), inconsistent temperatures, poor airflow, a frozen air conditioner, or a sudden increase in energy bills.  

  • Should I repair or replace my old system? Consider replacing a system that is 10โ€“15 years or older, frequently breaks down, or is no longer energy efficient.  

  • Do you offer maintenance plans? Yes we offer plans that include annual tune-ups, priority scheduling, and discounts on repairs.

  • What size HVAC system do I need for my home? We should perform a load calculation (often using Manual J guidelines) based on your home's square footage, insulation, number of windows, and climate to ensure proper sizing.  

  • How is the efficiency of equipment measured? For air conditioners, this is measured by the SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio). A higher SEER rating indicates greater energy efficiency.  

  • What brands and models do you recommend? We will discuss different brands, their pros and cons, and high-efficiency options based on your budget and priorities.  

  • Are there any local utility rebates or tax credits available? We are Wattsmart and Thermwise professional vendors and can get you maximum rebates from any program available in your area.

  • What is the warranty like on a new HVAC system? New systems often come with a manufacturer's parts warranty (typically 5-10 years), and the company may offer a separate labor warranty.
